General Surgery Conferences/Rounds
Conferences and teaching rounds provide the bulk of formal instruction at Stony Brook University Medical Center, the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Winthrop–University Hospital. In addition, many other valuable and informative conferences and lectures are held each week at the medical school itself. Of special interest to surgical residents is the Department's Grand Rounds Program which presents nationally recognized surgeons as guest lecturers.
