The Division’s community outreach initiatives include participation in local health fairs, as well as our faculty’s participation in the Department’s Surgical Speakers Bureau.

Members of our faculty also particpate in medical missions around the world, providing pro bono surgery to help victims of burns and also children with cleft palates and cleft lips (for instance, "Operation Babahoyo").
