Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Division Patient Care
The Division’s faculty members are board-certified specialists committed to the highest degree of specialization and expertise in problems of the ear, nose, and throat in adults and children.
Our practice includes application of the most advanced techniques in:
- Minimally invasive and endoscopic surgery
- Subspecialty care in the disorders and diseases of the neuro-sensory system including taste, smell, hearing, and balance
- Management of deformities and diseases of the airway in newborns and adults
Our faculty perform the only cochlear implant surgery in Suffolk County — a high-tech surgery for treating profound deafness.
In 2007, we became the first in Suffolk County to offer balloon sinuplasty, the new minimally invasive treatment of chronic sinusitis.
Our faculty are members of the multidisciplinary teams of the Stony Brook Skull Base Surgery Center and Stony Brook Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Center, dedicated to treating cleft palate and other congenital facial abnormalities.
Visit our Patient Care section for more information about our otolaryngology–head and neck surgery (ENT) service.
