The Division’s community outreach initiatives include participation in local health fairs, as well as our faculty’s participation in the Department’s Surgical Speakers Bureau.

Our faculty also provides CME-accredited lectures at Stony Brook University Medical Center, which enable physicians and other healthcare professionals in our local community to learn about the latest therapeutic advances in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery.

In terms of the global community, our faculty goes on medical missions to countries around the world, as in our recent mission to Vietnam, to treat needy patients without access to quality healthcare.
